Simulation of dispersion in a street canyon using the DALES model

Accurate assessment of air quality in urban environments can be challenging. A relatively new development in the assessment is the use of numerical Large-Eddy Simulations. RIVM used The Dutch Atmospheric Large-Eddy Simulation (DALES) model in this investigation to calculate the concentrations due to traffic in street canyons.
